Have you ever wondered why your kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working? That's a thinking I'm sure I've had at least a number of times. But I've also had other thoughts that have accompanied it. It could be a coincidence, or it could be an indication of a significant kitchen problem. However, it could also be something altogether different. So, what do I think?
Benefit of using a sink

It's most likely a problem with my kitchen faucet, I believe. I'll try to explain why this is the case so you can see what I'm talking about. In our kitchen, I use a sink. We have a perfectly functional kitchen faucet that is just the incorrect size. When we want to use the water in the kitchen, we grab the water hose and push it down through the handle, which appears to function great for a few seconds.

I've also stowed the water hose beneath the kitchen cupboard. The same issues arise when I try to fill a bottle with tap water. First, the water is too hot for me to put my hand in, and second, I can't get it under the cabinet without splattering water all over the place. I tried putting a towel over the handle and filling the bottle that way, but it just made a mess.

I've also turned on the tap to take a bath, and the water is slowly draining. Then I turn it on to wash my hands, and the faucet functions flawlessly! So I'm thinking I might need a new kitchen faucet. I searched online and there are many options to select from, so I'm not in a rush to purchase one. It's likely that it'll linger in my thoughts for a bit longer.

Now that I know why my kitchen tap isn't working as well as it used to, I'll have to take better care of it. The first thing I need to do is replace my kitchen water filter, which was not designed for hard water. I'll make certain that the water it produces is soft enough for my family to drink. It's possible that I'll have to replace my kitchen faucet as well.

Hiring a professional

I like how things are going in my house, but I'm not oblivious to the potential. When I require professional assistance, I am more than willing to seek it. I'm not in a hurry to accomplish something, so I'll hold off until later to see what happens. I'm quite pleased with my choice!
